- The Plan
- Here's the idea: instead of Jack doing an amazing feat of strength, it's our turn to affirm our commitment to health and fitness by doing something positive (and possibly challenging, if your up to it), related to
physical fitness, nutrition, or health in general.
- Participation
- Simply be willing and able to do something of your choosing that is positive for your health this September 26th. Perform your "feat" solo or with a group of like-minded devotees. Participation is free,
open to all, ad-free, spam-free, and
with no
strings attached.
Ways to get involved (so we can gauge community interest and coordinate group activities):
- Register with the Team LaLanne tribe (TeamHuman.org's social networking site)
- Become a fan of JLLDay on Facebook
- Follow JLLDay on Twitter
- Events
- See the Events page for details about some
local "feat of strength" activities that were held on 26 Sep 2009.
In 2010 we're trying something new: To encourages everyone to continue the Jack LaLanne Day attitude throughout the year, consider the 26th day of each month to be a JLLDay practice day, to be used as a time to check-in with our own personal health improvement committment. More about this on the Events page.
